‘We are proud of how far we have come, the challenges we have overcome and, above all, the women and men who embody these values in the field.’ With these words, after thanking the Sovereign for his presence, Lucas Raschetti, CEO of Monaco Sécurité Privée, began a speech that was at once grateful, passionate and focused on future projects.
His words were listened to attentively by the 190 guests in attendance, including Prince Albert II, Pierre Casiraghi, Minister of State Christophe Mirmand, President of the National Council Thomas Brezzo, Government Advisor and Minister of the Interior Lionel Beffre, Deputy Chairman of SBM Stéphane Valeri, Anne Boggio of the Princess Charlene Foundation, Leticia de Massy and Franck Julien, Chairman of the Finance and National Economy Committee of the Upper House.

‘Founded in 1975 by four partners, under the impetus of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III, and long headed by Mr Georges Sangiorgio, now honorary director, Monaco Sécurité Privée has been guided since its inception by strong values: integrity, vigilance, professionalism, discretion and team spirit,’ Lucas Raschetti continued.
Over the past five decades, MSP has responded to a strong demand for security, complementing the work of the public security services. Its workforce now numbers 120 permanent employees, reinforced by nearly 200 seasonal workers during the summer months, serving 1,500 partners. ‘We protect around 30 banking establishments, more than 600 shops, institutions and major construction sites,’ explained the managing director. Among these construction sites is, of course, the recent Mareterra project, which was accompanied by an exceptional comprehensive surveillance contract. Lucas Raschetti: ‘This project, unique in its scale and specificities, has highlighted our ability to adapt to all situations and all types of missions.’
The speech was punctuated by the presentation of a gift to the Sovereign. The Chief Executive Officer then turned his attention to the future. “Fifty years, half a century… and yet, in the history of our profession, this is still only the beginning. Over the past 50 years, threats and technologies have evolved, but one thing remains the same: the expectations of our partners. Guaranteeing security in all circumstances is the mission we will continue to fulfil, with the same high standards. Tonight, we are not just celebrating an anniversary. We are paying tribute to a legacy and affirming our commitment to the future. Here’s to Monaco Sécurité Privée and its next 50 years,” concluded Lucas Raschetti before joining his guests for a cocktail reception that lasted until nightfall.
